Hi Mia! This model needs water inlet hoses to be connected, as well as a drain hose. Information about connecting the water inlet hoses can be found on page 22 of your installation instructions, and information about the drain hose can be found on pages 21 and 22 of the same document. The drain hose needs to be inserted into a riser that allows air to enter to prevent air-locking the drain. The riser should extend above the level of the washer. I would think that you could have the drywall cut out and a drain installed at that level above the counter, then the drain from the washer could be inserted into that. The drywall opening could be covered with a matching panel that is removable in case service needs to be performed. The volume of water discharged by the machine is similar to other washing machines when it is draining, so steps should be taken to assure that the drain you plan to use can handle that amount of flow.
