Hi Karen- Thanks for viewing our GE French- door Refrigerators! We currently do not offer a model in Slate without a factory-installed icemaker. A water line is not required and the factory-installed icemaker can be turned off if not desired. The stone-inspired Slate finish blends impeccably with today's materials and colors. Not sure. But there is a switch to turn off the ice maker and you could remove the bin for it.

this one GNE21FSKSS Has an ice maker in the freezer section and has a button that can be turned off. Hope this helps
