• A:Answer I'm not sure which location in the Memphis location you are referring to. If you look at the "Store Pickup" area, it should tell you if it is immediately available. If it shows a future date, it is probably not immediately available in your area.

• A:Answer Hi - Thanks for choosing GE! There is not a set temperature for each setting. The temperature will vary based on door opening, food load, room temperature, etc. The recommended refrigerator temperature is 37 degrees F and 0 degrees F in the freezer. The best way to measure temperature is to place a bulb type or candy thermometer that is capable of reading below zero temperatures directly into a container of food or liquid that has been in the refrigerator or freezer compartment for at least twenty-four (24) hours. Temperature measurements in the fresh food and freezer compartments should never be made of the air. Air temperature fluctuates during defrost and during door openings. While our refrigerators continue to be manufactured with as quiet an operation as possible, newer refrigerators sound different from older refrigerators. Modern refrigerators have more features and use newer technology. You may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound from the new high efficiency compressor while it is operating. Also, the freezer does not have an interior light. Keep in touch!

• A:Answer Hi Al- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for viewing our Top-Freezer Refrigerators! We do not recommend installing a refrigerator where temperatures will go below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. At this temperature, the unit is less efficient and will continue to lose efficiency as the outdoor temperature decreases. At 32 degrees, there is no cooling capability at all. Also, we do not recommend installing a refrigerator where the temperature will exceed 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
