This model uses the XWFE water filter. If you're purchasing the unit new, the water filter will come pre-installed in the fridge. If you need to replace your current water filter, please follow the steps in the section titled: "Water Filter Cartridge - XWF" on pg. 9 of the Owner's Manual. The Owner's Manual can be located on the product homepage on the Best Buy website at the bottom of the "Features" section.
