I recently bought this particular refrigerator and the delivery men removed the doors in order to get it in my apartment. It is a simple thing for the delivery men to do. Taking the doors off eliminates at least 2 inches and it will go in easily. Good Luck!

You are talking about only having an 1/8" on each side which is too tight of a fit in my opinion. Mine is in the garage and I was able to move my shelving unit and deep freezer apart so it would fit. If you can't increase your opening a little bit then I would get a smaller fridge.
