Q: QuestionIf water leaks into drip pan from washing machine how do I get it out? (no drain available) Will the water be accessible to me or will it just sit in drip pan festering?

• A:Answer It sit there, but you can wipe up with small towels. Basically not easy, I bought it for the extra 4” inch height. 4” inches doesn’t seem like much but it sure helped.

Q: QuestionWhat size and type of drain hose will connect to the drain of this pedestal/drip pan? I have one I didn't use for a dishwasher and am hoping it will connect to this pan. If not what do I need to fit to it?

• A:Answer The size of the drain hose on the GAF140SSNWW is 1" O.D. and 7/8" I.D. A plastic, flexible hose can be used with the drain on the pedestal drip pan.

We've not tested our accessories for use with other branded appliances and vice versa. Q: QuestionWill this 24" pedestal work with GE model GFW850SSNWW washer? The sales associate sold me this pedestal and now I am looking at the dimensions and the washer appears to be larger than the pedestal.
