Q: Questiondoes the water come out cold, I have problem with the whirlpool ,which just bought, the water does nit come out cold
Asked by Abdul.
- A:Answer I would consider the water cool, not ice cold. I have had water from several different brands of side by side refrigerators, and not one of them dispensed water that is ice cold. That's what the ice maker is for!

Q: QuestionI don’t have a water line ran to the other side of my kitchen. Will the refrigerator still work until I run a water line through the attic?
Asked by Bde1177.
- A:Answer Yes, the refrigerator will still work just fine without a water line, it won’t be able to give you water or ice but it will still work as a regular refrigerator until you can get a water line up. (This is currently what I’m doing as well!)

Q: QuestionI’ve had this fridge for about 10 days now. It just seems to run all the time. Is this normal or should I call for a repair. It doesn’t run continuously but it does seem to run more than it’s off.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hello. Congratulations on your new refrigerator purchase! We understand your concern regarding the unit run time and we are glad to assist. For refrigerators to maintain proper temperature, the compressor will run much of the time. Newer refrigerators have compressors that are designed to run 80% to 90% of the time. This makes them more energy efficient because the greatest amount of energy is used when the compressor cycles on as opposed to when the compressor is actually running. Asked by Santa.
This question was asked about the related product: GE - 36 in. Wide 25.3 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with External Ice & Water Dispenser - Stainless Steel
- A:Answer Make sure the shut-off valve connecting your refrigerator to the water line is turned on. It is typically located either behind the refrigerator or in the basement ceiling. Ensure the water reservoir tank is full. Press the dispenser for 2 to 3 minutes to allow the reservoir and internal tubing to fill completely. Once water begins dispensing, purge any air from the lines by dispensing water for 5 minutes or 2 gallons. If the doors were removed during installation, make sure the wiring harness was reconnected when the doors were reinstalled. Please refer to the illustration on page 21 of the Installation Guide for this model. You can find it by visiting the product page, clicking the “Features” tab, and navigating to the Manuals and Guides section.
