• Hi Susan - Yes, The door alarm feature helps ensure food preservation is maximized by signaling if the fresh food door(s) or freezer drawer has been left ajar. When the fresh food door(s) has been left open longer than 2 minutes, a beeping signal will sound. Note: Alarm won't sound if door is open between 1/2" to 3". Thanks for your interest! Sue
