“Why is there no built in drip tray to hold excess water drops from the wafer dispenser”

This question is for: GE - 27.7 Cu. Ft. French Door-in-Door Refrigerator with External Water & Ice Dispenser - Stainless Steel

Honestly I thought the same thing and felt the same way but it’s so much cleaner without the drip tray .. I’ve had drip trays in other refrigerators and it leaves an ugly film on that drip tray no matter if you clean it off immediately and with this as soon as you wipe it down it’s gone and it doesn’t accumulate any of that water stain or leave any residue

Hi there, Based on our research, we are finding that this unit will come with a dispenser tray to help catch any water that may drip from the dispenser. If you take a look at pg. 13 you should find information about removing and installing the dispenser tray.
