i have a new 27 double wall oven, and i am having trouble starting the timer. I am following the directions and it is not working. i push the timer pad, then the numbers, then start and it reads error. please advise.... null

Push the "start" on the right-hand side of the panel.

My Wife and I found this same issue. The problem is if you want 1-hour, you need to punch in "00.60" for 60 minutes! Not "01:00"

Hi susanw- The Timer can be set in hours and minutes (Ex. 5 minutes, press 005 and Start. 1 hour, press 100 and Start).The Timer can be set from 0:01 - 11:59. 
On double wall ovens, you can only set the Timer for one oven. Keep in touch at  1-800-626-2005 or GEAppliances.com - Sue
