- Answer Hi Annie- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for viewing our Wall Ovens! The oven window is tinted. The oven features an interior oven light that is activated by opening the oven door. We suggest to also view model JK3000DFBB. This model features an oven light switch on the control panel to allow you to view the foods cooking without opening the door. Thanks for checking with us!

QuestionHi, we bought a GE JK1000DFBB a while ago and we still haven't found the light switch. I think that there is no switch, but it doesn't make sense at all. The light opens when we open the oven door, but there's no way to open it when the door is closed.
