Hi there, thank you for the question. Replacing a microwave model depends on the installation requirements for each model. While we are happy to let you know trim kit #JX830SFSS is compatible with microwave #PEM31SFSS, however this microwave is not recommended for the opening dimensions that you have, as it requires at least an 18" deep receptacle.
