Hi there, and thanks for reaching out to us about this electric range. We understand how important the range being anchored and secure is, and are happy to advise. Anti-tip screws secure the range to the countertop. If those cannot be used in your particular situation, an anti-tip support can be mounted to the rear wall of the space the range is being installed in. A certain amount of countertop thickness (1 ½” minimum) is required to support the range and accommodate the ¾” anti-tip screw. Braces may need to be installed between the underside of the countertop and the cabinet to reach the necessary level of thickness for support. Further details are available in the installation instructions. We hope this information is helpful, and are happy to assist further if needed. All the best! -Sarah@GEA
