Hi Chi - The Spacemaker washer load sensing feature (Precisefill) that automatically senses the size of your load, fills with the appropriate amount of water and calculates the amount of wash time required to complete the cycle. It does this by turning the basket back and forth several time prior to fill. The amount of time it takes for the basket to stop (or dampen) will determine the size. The lid must be closed to continue filling when Precise Fill is selected. See page 8 of the Use and Care Manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90581-3.pdf - An overloaded washer may become off balanced. See page 11 of the Use and Care Manual- Loading the Washer. Also, make sure the washer is level. Keep the leg extension at minimum to prevent excessive vibration. The farther out legs are extended, the more the unit will vibrate.
