“Does the unit have to have separate electrical outlets or does the 240 volt 30 amp take care of both washer and dryer combo in the machine by a separation switch??”

• Hi KJNolen - Unitized washer dryer units only have one power cord. There is not a separate cord for the washer and the dryer. Electric Models should be connected to a dedicated 240V or 208V 30-amp time-delay fuse or circuit breaker. The 240/208V will power the dryer, and the unit internally steps it down to 110/120V for the washer. Power cord sold separately. Thanks for choosing GE! Sue
