“We have socks, underwear, Etc in between the frame of the washer and the washing bin. How do I take a piece off, or something, to get to them for retrieval? I've called GE and the lady I spoke with knew absolutely nothing.”

Hi Shalonda - Thanks for reaching out to us. We can certainly understand your concern to retrieve the items. We apologize you were unable to get assistance when you called GE. If you need to remove the front panel, unplug this appliance from the power supply. Locate 2 spring clips between top and front panel (Approximately 4 inches in from corners.) Insert putty knife between top and front panel and push in to release clips. Pull top of front panel forward, lift up and off bottom locating tabs. To reassemble: Place bottom of front panel on existing "locating" tabs at bottom of washer cabinet. Align front panel with washer cabinet and top, push in until front snaps onto spring clips.
