Hello Mila - Congratulations on the new washer! We are sorry to hear about the left over detergent residue but we'll be happy to help get the best performance possible out of this wonderful machine. If you are finding detergent in your clothes after a cycle, we recommend checking the following. - Overloading the machine. Clothes must move freely for detergent to be released from the fabrics. Towels especially need to be the appropriate size load for the water level because they hold detergent. - Liquid fabric softener may be used to remove suds because its content chemically defeats suds. - Liquid detergent may be selected. Liquid detergent dissolves easier than pods. - Choose the optional and deep rinses (or re-rinse by setting the timer back to rinse) when needing to remove extra soap residue. Keep in touch! - JB
