I think my GE energy efficient washer/dryer center is great. It uses HE detergent, so I have switched to HE product. It is compact and is much larger than I anticipated, but because stacked as a center makes my utility room seem roomier. Plus I have back problems and do not have to bend over to take items out of the dryer, which is also helpful.

The truth is that this would have to be my wife who would have been asked to write something about this washing machine, since she is the one who spends time at home, but I tell you that she says that everything is fine.

So there is some good and some not so good. First the good, It's an energy and water saver which is good. What I don't like is, there is no knob to select the load size, and this is becuase the washer is censored to know how much water is needed, however, I'm not sure this is good because it does not seem to really have enough water in the load when it is washing. I have paused the load during a wash and literally was shocked to see there was no water however the clothes of course were wet, but my thought was how does it really wash good with no loose water. Another thing I don't like is the water will not fill with the lid open, and because the load when completely filled and ready to was does not have a lot of water, when placing my detergent in the washer there is no way for me to clean out the cap that had the detergent in it. I also do not like that there is no agitator, so you have to place your clothes in the washer as if there is an agitator, because it states it still needs the center area of washer clear of clothes. I guess, lastly my final complaint is, it's a little louder than other washers that I have had. When I first purchased it I thought something was wrong, because I could not believe it would be so noisy. If I would have known these things before the purchase I would not have purchased the washer. But that is what happens when you make an online purchase.
