Hi 2Rascals - Thanks for considering GE Model GUD27GESNWW! While not all comforters are the same thickness, the washer can accommodate most queen size comforters. Most comforters will wash properly in our washers as long as the comforter fits below the balance ring of the washer tub and is not stuffed in the tub tightly. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
