• You can check the GE installation manual for the model you intend to purchase at their website geappliances.com. I replaced an older 30" GE cook top with this new model. The existing cutout in my counter-top matched. The recommendation for the opening needed for the 30" cooktop is 28-1/2 - 28-5/8" x 19-5/8" - 19-3/4"

• Hi orchard- The Cutout Dimensions are (WxD) (in.) 28-1/2 x 19-5/8. A filler trim kit is available for use if your countertop cutout is larger than these dimensions, up to 29-13/16" x 20-7/16".
