Hello! We appreciate your interest in our built-in gas cooktop. The exit pipe is a 3/8" NPT male pipe thread. Regarding the size of the flex connector, all GE Appliances gas cooking products, (freestanding ranges, cooktops, wall ovens) should be connected to a gas supply line that is 1/2" I.D. national pipe thread.
