Hello - Thanks so much for reaching out about this wonderful A/C, this is a really good question. Yes, this model comes with a washable air filter. The filter should be cleaned at least every two weeks for the unit to operate at optimum efficiency. You can wash or vacuum the dust from the filter. Let us know if any other questions come up.
