- Answer Hello - Thanks so much for reaching out about this wonderful A/C, this is a really good question. Yes, this model comes with a washable air filter. The filter should be cleaned at least every two weeks for the unit to operate at optimum efficiency. You can wash or vacuum the dust from the filter. Let us know if any other questions come up. QuestionWe are considering purchasing a GE 350 square-foot portable air conditioner, Model APCA12XYLW. We have a window that is only 23 inches wide to use to vent it. Will the window kit fit that size window?

Questionthe wheel was broken inside box...3 were on the machine and 4th broken piece bottom of box; can it be replaced?

- Answer Yes, can you send the wheels, this is a very expensive item and both of the machines came with one wheel broken. I would love to keep the machines but not with broken parts that I have to pay for when it arrived broken.
