“At end of spin cycle when tub stops the tub starts filling with water instead of ending normally and continues to fill until interrupted with the Start/Pause button to stop it. Then the control knob is turned to Drain/Spin to empty the tub and spin.”

Hi Jack, Something to check is to make sure that you do not have the "2nd Rinse" option selected. This will cause your washer, after it has drained and spun, to fill with water and rinse again.
