• Hello Mellie - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. Yes, this washer offers the "Auto Soak" feature which will soak the clothes for up to 2 hours at the beginning of the cycle. You can also Pause the cycle so the clothes can soak, however, if the machine is paused more than 24 hours, the cycle will be cancelled. If water remains in the machine, select the Drain & Spin cycle to drain basket and spin water out of the washer basket. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

• Yes it does have a soak cycle but I'm not sure about a time setting

• It has a setting to select "soak" and then you can choose the soak duration up to 2hrs.
