Hi JoJo - The GTW460ASJWW features wash cycles which include an embedded soak within the wash cycle. The soak embedded within a specific wash cycle may occur once or multiple times, depending on the specific wash cycle selected. The soak time will vary but is less than a full Auto Soak cycle. For example, an embedded soak within a wash cycle may last approximately 2 or 3 minutes. It could be a little more or less, depending upon the wash cycle selected. The Auto Soak selection is still recommended for use when a longer soak period is desired. Thanks for viewing GE! Sue
