• No this machine is LOUD. I thought it was maybe leveled improperly, but I just checked and it is level as can be. Just a super loud machine. I logged in to check reviews to see if other owners experienced the same.

• Hi Greytmommy- Our washers continue to be manufactured with as quiet an operation as possible. When properly installed, you should not have concerns. Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. You should be pleased with your choice. Thaanks for considering GE! SUEatGEA
