Can't tell you exactly in gallons but this machine will adjust water amount as needed

Hello Courtney - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we are happy to help you. To obtain the average water usage of a washer, you would multiply the water factor by the capacity of the washer. In this case, the water factor is 7 and the washer capacity is 4.2 so the average water usage is 29.4 gallons. We hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
