Hi Suen, I am happy to help. The Deep Fill option (not to be confused with Deep Fill Rinse) will add additional water to the wash load, regardless of whether you used a manual or a load-sensing fill. There are two ways Deep Fill works: Add a little more water: Press the Deep Fill button once before starting the cycle to add 3 gallons of water to the wash load. Once the washer has stopped filling, you can press it again to add 3 more gallons. Full Tub Fill: Press and hold Deep Fill button for 3 seconds to have the washer fill to the maximum water level (approximately 26 gallons). Note: The lid must be down when using the Deep Fill option and it cannot be used on the precise fill option. We appreciate you checking with us. Lisa from GE Appliances.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One would think if you could fill the tub up completely once clothes were added water would overflow and spill out all over the floor. Hence the manufacture design.
