Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, This is Lisa from GE Appliances. I am happy to help. The washer will not start with the lid open. Check to make sure it is completely closed. Slow fill can result when the water pressure is too low. To check your water pressure, we suggest to call your water company. Be sure both Hot and Cold faucets are turned on fully. See the following troubleshooting link: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16539 If the fill light flashes, check your house water supply. As soon as the light starts to flash, the washer will initiate a 4 minute lock-out period. The washer controls won’t respond/change during this time. After the 4 minutes, you can begin your cycle again. If you try to bypass the lock-out period by unplugging the washer, the 4 minute timer will start over again. See page 10 of the owner's manual: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90555.pdf Electronics need to be reset. Unplug washer, wait 2 minutes, plug back in and press Start. We encourage you to contact GE Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737 for further assistance or conveniently schedule an appointment online: http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/service/ We hope this helps.
