  • QuestionDoes the rinse water level match the wash water level if deep fill selection is made for the fill

    Asked by Mom.

    • Answer I find that it does.

  • QuestionWill the washer fill with water with the lid up and will the water level cover all the clothes? I recently bought a Whirlpool washer that will only fill with the lid down and is not covering all the clothes with water even with the deep water level.

    Asked by NWGal1.

    • Answer Hi NWGal1 - On this washer, you can take the guesswork out of choosing the right water level with PreciseFill or manually select any water level for maximum cleaning performance. Deep Fill option allows you to customize your water levels with the touch of a button- add just a little extra water or fill the tub. Play Video: https://www.youtube.com/embed/ek5wEIxYMSI?rel=0 - Many current top-load washers with a Lid Lock feature will lock while the washer is filling and spinning. On these models, it is critical that the lid stays down while it is filling if you are using Precise Fill (or Auto Fill) rather than selecting a specific load size. Precise Fill senses the load and fills appropriately, so you don't want to add items while it is filling. The washer will not fill while the lid is up when using Precise Fill On models with a Lid Lock and both Precise Fill AND individual load size selections (ex. small, medium, etc.), the washer will fill with the lid up when you select a specific load size. This is because the washer does not use load sensing to fill for a set load size. Further note that new GE Appliances washer models meet or exceed the latest energy and water efficiency requirements. Therefore, you may notice that your washer fills with less water than your prior model did. This is normal. GE Appliances washers are designed for and are thoroughly tested using modern water levels and will provide exceptional cleaning. Keep in touch! Sue

    Asked by Shari.

    • Answer Hello Shari - Thank you for your question; we are glad to assist. There is not a way to put this washer in a spin cycle only. You can use Drain & Spin cycle; you can also select Extra Spin option before starting a wash cycle. We hope this helps. Thanks for checking. Olga@GEA

  • QuestionMy clothes are not getting clean at all in this machine, no matter what size my load is. I use tide and spray n wash on stains. I am having to re-wash some clothes several times.

    Asked by Palace.

    • Answer I'm not crazy about mine, either. The agitation is like intermittent and doesn't seem effective. The machine I wanted was not available so I settled. Never settle. For anything. You will ultimately be disappointed. It does run quiet though and I like that part, and easy to operate but overall, I'm disappointed and wish I had been able to wait for the one I wanted.

  • QuestionIs the washer spin cycle loud?

    Asked by RichardLong.

    • Answer That depends on your definition of loud. I will say that it is not quiet. If quiet operation is a requirement for you, I would suggest you keep looking. Otherwise it is a great washer with terrific features, but quiet it is not.
