• Newer washers will sound different from your previous model. You'll hear clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. We have a QR code on page 28 in the manual that you can take a photo of and hear the sounds from your phone. Joyce@GEAppliances
