• Yes it does. It is not as large as my last washer, but it does a much better job and does not constantly go unbalanced.

• Hello there, We can certainly understand your concern and will be happy to answer. Typically, most comforters will fit. As long as the comforter fits below the balance ring and isn't stuffed in the tub tightly. The comforter's thickness and density should be taken into account. Hope all is well! Mike@GEA
