Hey there, We're so sorry to hear that your mom's washer started leaking and we can understand how concerning that is. We always recommend loading according to the loading section on page 15 of the manual. https://files.bbystatic.com/CPyEVasqZ%2BZzAzKphDnN5g%3D%3D/FA409777-4931-4384-8C19-719C12A05552.pdf. We also would recommend taking the weight, size, and density of the items into account when loading. If you or your mom have any further questions, we can always be reached on social media. Stay well! Mike@GEA
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s true, i washed just 1 thick bedding and the water leaked from the pipe so it flooded the room. My husband needed to tightened the clamp more for fear it might happen again. However, i have not tested it again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This goes for any type of washer; it just depends on what kind of bedding. You have to consider the size, and weight. For example, some comforters can be bulky, and quilts can be heavy. Maybe she can try putting in the bedding first, then turn on the water, and leave the lid open so she can see the level the water reaches.
