  • QuestionWill this oven work on propane and do I need to purchase anything extra to make it work?

    • Answer Hello Thomas - Yes, GE Appliances recommends a qualified installer or servicer convert the gas range, oven, or cooktop to the proper gas supply needed. The conversion must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. The conversion instructions are located in the wiring diagram (mini-manual) or included with the LP kit attached to the appliance near the pressure regulator. Please consult the Owner's Manual or Installation Instructions to obtain information regarding any additional parts you may need to purchase. -TREY@GEA

The conversion must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. You might want to pair with GE® 1.6 Cu. Ft.     • Answer Hi Thomas- Thanks for viewing our GE® 30" Free-Standing Gas Range JGBS10DEKWW! Yes, the range requires 120-volt, 60 Hertz,properly grounded circuit protected by a 15-amp or 20-amp circuit breaker or time delay fuse. It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only this range be provided. The power cord of this appliance is equipped with a three-prong (grounding) plug which plugs into a standard three-prong grounding wall receptacle to minimize the possibility of electric shock hazard from this appliance.
