The Water Factor (WF or iWF) is the number of gallons per cycle per cubic foot that the washer uses. The lower the water factor, the more efficient the washer is. The iWF for this model is 3. Energy Star uses Combined Energy Factor (CEF) to compare the energy efficiency of gas and electric clothes dryers in pounds per kWh. The higher the value, the more efficient the dryer is. The CEF for dryer model GFD55ESS is 3.93. -Vikki@GEAppliances
