Yes.most have what is called a button trap at the bottom front of the washer.Some have a small door to open then a twist cap attached to a tray that catches things before they get into the pump.Some are accessed by removing the front panel to the machine.

Yes. The GE GFW550SSNWW 4.8CF FL WASHER WHT has a small door on the front bottom that opens and coins, buttons etc collect in a filter down there. It’s a little hard to open that door and you better have a towel handy because water drains out there.
