Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us. The warranty that accompanies each GE appliance specifically states that the warranty does not cover the failure of the product when “used commercially” as opposed to a residential setting. However, to determine what is “commercial or business use” can be difficult and therefore, we must look more closely at how the appliance is being used and the frequency of such use.
