This is really annoying. Why doesn’t the power button lock with the rest of the buttons? This happens to me a good bot, not just me barely brushing against it and it turns off but also little ones love to push buttons and the lock feature is basically useless since it doesn’t work on all controls.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This has happened to me several times. I just press the power button and start button and it starts back where it left off. It only cancels the current load if you wait longer than 15 minutes to turn it back on.

The Control Lock feature will keep the control panel protected from inadvertent swipe-by’s. However, the Power pad can still be used when the machine is locked. There is not a way to lock the Power pad so it is important to be cognizant of this. If the Power button is inadvertently pressed during a wash cycle, there is not a way to restart the washer from where it left off in the cycle. It does restart from the beginning. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience or frustration this has caused you. All our best! Vikki@GEA
