It is not noisy at all, I forget it's running most of the time
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We purchased Model GTW755 and this machine is not noisy. My Mom just purchased a GE GTW460 and it is noisy during the wash cycle however the other cycles aren’t bad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Ferg- Thanks for considering GE! Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. You can view Normal Operating Sounds on page 26 of the Owner's Manual at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90586.PDF - - Excessive noise/vibration can be caused by unbalanced loads, unleveled washer or improper installation. See the following link TOP LOAD WASHER WALKING OR VIBRATING: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17445 - You should be pleased with your choice. Keep in touch! Sue
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have had this washing machine for 3 months and I do not find it to be noisy at all. We have our machine on a solid floor in the upper level of our house. The room is compact and near the master bedroom and we have no issues with it being loud. Of course we can hear it but not loudly at all. However, the matching dryer we purchased with the washer is much louder than other dryers we have owned.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been using my new GE washer for 2 weeks and have washed everything from delicates to work jeans and king size bedding. I LOVE IT.. no noise issues and laundry room sits enclosed within our family room.
