“When installing in a wall sleeve 24.6"w x 14.375 h, is there material included in the box to fill in the extra space above and to the sides? If not, is there a sleeve install kit?”

There is some extra foam & slides to properly fit the AC. However you may need some thicker insulation if you really want to seal it up even more which is one’s choice.
