This unit is very loud when it rans and constantly cycles on and off, about every 10 minutes or so. If you're a light sleeper, skip this one.

In our experience, keeping it on the lowest setting (64○) prevents it from kicking on and off...depending on the ambient temperature and the size of your room...it might get pretty cold! Unfortunately, whether it's a traditional window unit or a portable AC...compressor noise is a necessary evil. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It can be put on automatic or run full time. We have two and have no problems w power cutting out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can turn on the constant fan setting so only the AC turns off but the fan keeps blowing. However, the sound of the AC part turning on/off can be pretty loud as the whole unit shakes and I find it hard to sleep with it. The dehumidifier/dry mode does keep the noise consistent but you can’t set a temperature and it might get too cold.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can set it to be always on or you can let it auto stop and start.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The fan can be turned on constant in cool mode.

It can be set so the fan runs continuously even after your desired temperature setting has been reached. We're confident this unit will fit your needs. All our best! Vikki@GEA
