Thanks for reaching out about this. We're happy to offer some insight. In the case of a power outage, you can light the surface burners on your electric ignition gas range using a match. Hold a lighted match next to the burner, then turn the knob to the low position. Please be sure to use extreme caution when lighting the burners this way.
