A:AnswerHello Sim,
Thanks for asking! We appreciate your interest in GE Appliances, and we'd love to help you with this range. We apologize this information wasn't more visible, but we'll use this as an opportunity for improvement. When using the oven on this range, we do not recommend using an oven liner. Using this accessory could cause it to be melted in the oven. This would cause damage to the appliance and create a safety hazard for the owner. Damage caused by improper use of liners will not be covered by the warranty. This information is available in the owner's manual, or in the following link: (Page 13)

We thank you for choosing GE Appliances, and it's been a pleasure assisting you. If there are any more questions about your range, please contact us through our website or social media.
Have a great day!

A:AnswerHi there, thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in this electric range! We truly appreciate your patience and are happy to offer you guidance in canning. This range's radiant ceramic glass cooktop will be able to handle the weight of a full-7 quart canner. Because canning generates large amounts of steam and heat, you should always use extreme caution, and we recommend the following tips! Be sure the canner is centered over the surface unit. Flat bottomed canners must be used. Normally, pots that extend beyond one inch of the cooking element's trim ring are not recommended; however, when canning with a water-bath, pressure canner, or pressure cooker, larger diameter pots may be used. You can learn more about using the surface units on pages 7-10 of your Use and Care Manual. We hope that this helps! -Eliza@GEA
