Hi there, we appreciate you choosing GE Appliances and we're happy to help. The coil itself should not be touching the floor, so if this is the case that is normal. If the coil itself is touching the floor , we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) or by clicking here: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm - If you're unsure, we suggest messaging pictures on social media so that we can further evaluate your situation. All the best. - Guy@GEA
