Hello Hairdide, Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to answer your question. To ensure the performance and safety of the range, we do not recommend reusing an existing power cord. This range requires a 240 volt power cord protected by a 40 amp circuit. Please make sure you have a 240 volt service available for the range. You can also take a picture of your outlet so you know what type of cord to purchase.
