Hey there, we appreciate your loyalty to us and we're sorry to hear your motherboard failed after 20 years. Although we pride ourselves on quality, it is not possible to determine the product failure rate, lifespan , life expectancy, or life cycle of an appliance, even an approximate age. There are many variables involved, like: frequency of use, type of use, location of appliance (ex. high humidity; near the ocean; etc.), care, and maintenance.
