Q: QuestionWhy is the depth dimension of this range nearly 30"? I want to install it in my existing kitchen that has a 25" deep counter.

• A:Answer Hello and thank you for the interest in this spectacular range. We'll be happy to fill you in on this. The depth of 29-1/4" includes the door and handle which should stick out past the cabinets by design. Without these, the unit is 24-7/8" deep. We hope this clears things up. Q: QuestionI'm wondering if this range can be used with a 4 prong GE cord? I've tried to look and see where I would switch out the original cord it comes with but I don't understand how I would do it. Is it possible?

Al;so, the Broil Hi-Lo pad gives you the capability of reducing the oven temperature during the broil function. On gas models, the gas flame height is the same for Hi and Lo Broil. Q: QuestionWhen using the oven the right vent shoots out cooler air, middle shoots out warm air, and left vent does nothing. Is this normal? Also, is it normal to smell a gas odor while your oven is preheating? Ours does and the technician said it was normal.

• A:Answer Hi Ann - Thanks for viewing GE Model JGS760EELES! The range does not have proof or dehydrate options. The lowest oven temperature setting is 170F. The WARM option heats up to approximately 180 degrees to keep cooked foods hot and ready to serve for up to 3 hours (The Warm function heats to 180 degrees to prevent food born bacteria growth). Our ranges meet all standards set by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL). UL evaluates external temperature limitations for ranges. The front and sides of a range can vary from 152 to 212 degrees F., depending on the materials. There are currently no temperature limitations for the horizontal surface, or cooktop, of a range. All of our gas cooking appliances come ready to be connected to natural gas and also come with an LP conversion kit to connect to LP (Liquid Propane). The LP kit is attached to the appliance near the pressure regulator. We recommend a qualified installer or servicer convert the gas appliance to the proper gas supply needed. The conversion must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. We’d love to have you in the family.
