A:AnswerHi Pamcc - Thanks for considering GE Model JGS760DELWW! Yes, you can certainly broil in this range. Al;so, the Broil Hi-Lo pad gives you the capability of reducing the oven temperature during the broil function. On gas models, the gas flame height is the same for Hi and Lo Broil. The flame will cycle off more often when set to Lo Broil. We'd love to have you in the family. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
A:AnswerHello and thank you for your interest in this excellent range. Our slate finish is a highly engineered, low-gloss matte metallic paint finish. This dark matte finish is inspired by the rich texture of stone. Keep in touch! - JB
A:AnswerHi Ann - Thanks for viewing GE Model JGS760EELES! The range does not have proof or dehydrate options. The lowest oven temperature setting is 170F. The WARM option heats up to approximately 180 degrees to keep cooked foods hot and ready to serve for up to 3 hours (The Warm function heats to 180 degrees to prevent food born bacteria growth). Our ranges meet all standards set by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL). UL evaluates external temperature limitations for ranges. The front and sides of a range can vary from 152 to 212 degrees F., depending on the materials. There are currently no temperature limitations for the horizontal surface, or cooktop, of a range. If you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to ask, we are also happy to help at GEAppliances.com! Sue
A:AnswerHi Brooklyn1670 - Thanks for considering GE! We have good news. All of our gas cooking appliances come ready to be connected to natural gas and also come with an LP conversion kit to connect to LP (Liquid Propane). The LP kit is attached to the appliance near the pressure regulator. We recommend a qualified installer or servicer convert the gas appliance to the proper gas supply needed. The conversion must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. We’d love to have you in the family. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
