“The description says that it the unit with pump can pump water up to 16 feet away. This doesn't really make sense. Are they saying that the pump can push up to 16 feet vertically? or that the unit can only pump 16 feet horizontally?”

It’s pumping it through a small quarter inch Audi tube you can pump it uphill to some extent, but I’m not sure if it would pump efficiently if you go too high
